Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight reveals results from IDC's GenAI Awareness, Readiness, and Commitment (ARC) Survey, conducted in August 2023. It investigates how enterprise leaders are assessing generative AI's (GenAI's) potential impact on their organizations over the next 18 months. Organizations have invested in artificial intelligence and traditional machine learning for many years. Generative AI is a relative newcomer to the AI technology scene and has enormous potential to drive efficiency and productivity, create new content and business models, and solve a wide range of enterprise challenges.
