Abstract
This IDC study presents the updated five-year forecast for advanced smartwatch shipments in the United States.
"The U.S. advanced smartwatch market will grow just slightly in 2024 over 2023 levels as macroeconomic recovery continues," points out Ramon T. Llamas, research director, IDC's Wearables program. "What should not be overlooked is how artificial intelligence is slowly making its way to smartwatches, analyzing historical data and providing actionable data for the wearer. This is in its initial stages right now, but expect more developments to come in the future to drive interest and adoption."
