This IDC Market Presentation leverages multiple consumer-focused surveys to better understand the way millennials think about technology and the companies that provide it. Millennials have aged into a large and active role in making technology-buying decisions for their organizations, and they represent a major opportunity for companies that are savvy about understanding their wants and needs as consumers and ITDMs. "Millennials think differently than both their older peers (Gen X and boomers) and their younger colleagues (Gen Z)," said Tom Mainelli, IDC's GVP for Device and Consumer research.
