This IDC Survey Spotlight highlights the top factors that influence which providers organizations utilize to provide managed detection and response (MDR) services.
The factors are pulled from IDC's September 2023 Managed Detection and Response Survey. Survey respondents have utilized MDR services for at least a year and filled at least one of the following criteria:
- Survey respondent is part of the team or the final decision maker for selecting an MDR provider.
- Survey respondent is part of the team that engages with their MDR service provider on a day-to-day basis.
- Survey respondent influences decisions related to their organization's MDR provider.
