This IDC study discusses the forecast for the worldwide advanced smartwatch market for 2023–2027.
"Worldwide macroeconomic headwinds will affect most markets, including advanced smartwatches," points out Ramon T. Llamas, research director for IDC's Wearables program. "Although we anticipate a decline in shipments in 2023, the decline will be slight and short lived as volumes pick back up again in 2024. Until then, the steady stream of new advanced smartwatches will keep the selection fresh and new users will help drive both the market and the installed base higher."
