This IDC Perspective discusses the developments IDC foresees as being critical factors in the U.S. federal cybersecurity market throughout 2023 and into 2024.
"Supply chain vulnerabilities and human error are two major challenges plaguing national governments today," said Aaron Walker, research manager, Government Trust and Resiliency Strategy at IDC. "We've already seen the global effects of software supply chain attacks, and we're watching the U.S. federal government struggle to maintain security while unable to fill thousands of security job openings. These risks must be addressed in the immediate. Agencies should also consider secure data integration and data privacy management now while generative AI security solutions are still developing."
