Abstract
This IDC Perspective summarizes findings from the 17th annual Chief Data Officer and Information Quality (CDOIQ) Symposium held in July 2023 and provides guidance on the role and skills of the chief data officer (CDO).
"CDOs are often tasked with the impossible — fixing all data challenges in the organization — and often their first action is to use technology to solve these problems.
