This IDC Market Note discusses AWS re:Inforce 2023, held in Anaheim, California, June13–14, that provided virtual and in-person attendees with a packed two-day schedule of new announcements and access to 300+ sessions across six tracks. It also discusses how AWS continues to deliver what its customers tell it they need, and while there may be some overlap in the portfolio as new solutions or tools are introduced, not every AWS client wants to become an architect. Tenants possess a range of capabilities and will accept their role in the shared responsibility model (SRM), but increasingly appreciate all the help they can get.
