This IDC Survey is the third and final installment from the 2023 Security Services Survey. IDC asked 1,214 respondents who influenced, were part of a team, or were the final decision maker on the purchase of security services across 14 countries key questions, such as:
- What percentage of the IT budget is allocated to security?
- What percentage of the security budget is allocated to security services?
- What strategies are being used to fight inflation?
- How many different vendors are used for managed security services, professional security services, and security software/hardware?
- What percentage of security providers will be reduced as a result of rationalization?
- How are the effectiveness of different security services perceived by different job titles?
