This IDC study presents a five-year forecast (2023-2027) for the worldwide intelligent CloudOps software market. Growth in this market represents a five-year CAGR of 18.5%, which is based on "as reported" revenue in the U.S. dollar current currency. IDC estimates that the worldwide market for intelligent CloudOps software will reach $14.7 billion in 2022 and grow to $34.3 billion in 2027.
"Investments in the automation of their cloud infrastructure is top of mind for many enterprises," according to Jevin Jensen, vice president of Intelligent CloudOps at IDC. "As rising inflation puts IT budgets under increasing pressure and higher interest rates bring potential recession, enterprises recognize the need to invest in the tools that will help them automate, optimize cloud spend, and deliver business value."
