Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight provides insight into the plans of businesses of varying sizes on the repatriation of storage resources from the public cloud. Repatriation of workloads from the public cloud to dedicated infrastructure environments is a common practice for enterprises that take a hybrid cloud approach and have a workload-centric IT strategy. In IDC's Server and Storage Workloads Survey, completed in April 2023, respondents indicated if they have repatriation plans and estimated the magnitude of their repatriation activity.
