Abstract


This IDC Survey uses data collected from IDC's January 2023 Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey. It examines which tactics digital-native businesses (DNBs) with 500+ employees will use to optimize their investments in customer experience knowledge. It includes survey data on to what level DNBs have invested and implemented unified customer data and where they expect to be in 18 months. It also looks at what kind of customer data is important and at data governance and data compliance issues. We compared responses of digital-native businesses with the other categories of digital maturity (we are not a digital business at all, we are somewhat a digital business, we are mostly a digital business, and we are a digital-native business).
