Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight provides insights on workload-level contribution to cloud migration initiatives in 2022. In December 2022, IDC completed a U.S. Cloud Migration Survey, which looked at workload cloud migration initiatives in the United States and their contribution to infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) and platform-as-a-service (PaaS) spend. The research included a survey of more than 1,200 companies which were in the process of either migrating some of their workloads into public cloud or planning to initiate migrations in 2023.
