This IDC Market Note examines NVIDIA's announcements at GTC in March 2023. At the event, NVIDIA further cemented its dominance in the AI, HPC, metaverse, video/image, and graphics universe with a staggering number of announcements around new hardware and software solutions as well as a slew of new partnerships.
"NVIDIA appears unstoppable, despite efforts to make a dent in the company's market share by processor incumbents and AI hardware start-ups," said Peter Rutten, research vice president, Performance-Intensive Computing Solutions at IDC. "But the generative AI curve that NVIDIA has initiated and is now riding could soon prove to become unsustainable."
