Abstract
This IDC Survey summarizes findings from IDC's 3Q23 U.S. Gamer Survey as it relates to current user engagement and satisfaction by console SKU or family, as well as the factors that will influence console hardware bundle buying decisions this holiday season. The demographics of console gamers are considered, as are a range of gaming-related activities associated with Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch OLED, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 Standard Edition, PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, and PlayStation 4 users.
"The survey results show that demand for Xbox Series X, Switch OLED, and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition hardware will be higher this holiday season than it was in 4Q22.
