Abstract
This IDC Survey provides insight into the state of data streaming in modern times. Survey analysis includes what is important to practitioners focused on streaming, compared with database management and data engineering practitioners. The survey analysis also takes a deep dive into what technologies streaming data is flowing to, where streaming data is being processed, latency requirements, and the challenges that streaming practitioners are faced with in modern data environments.
