Abstract

This IDC Survey draws data from IDC's Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey, Wave 11, December 2022. The data demonstrates enduring support for hybrid work models, with increased migration to cloud technologies and redesign of physical offices in 2023. With policies around return to office in various regions, investments in physical workplaces and digital workspaces continue to support momentum around successful deployment of hybrid work models.

IDC's research on the future of work continues to explore how this work transformation will have an impact on automation and augmentation of work, work culture and leadership, and shifting trends around flexible work models. Flexible work models are driving key benefits for organizations including secure access to resources for all workers and enhanced employee experiences. Organizations have also learned a great deal about how interconnected employee experience and customer experience have become.
