This IDC PlanScape looks at an architectural approach or process for addressing both traditional IT problems and the new, emergent wicked ones.
"Addressing wicked problems requires an approach that works within the emergent complexity of the future enterprise: an emergent ecosystem architecture rather than an evolutionary enterprise architecture," said Mike Rosen, adjunct research advisor for IDC's IT Executive Programs (IEP). "Creating architecture for future IT is not about throwing out our traditional architecture methods and tools but rather about extending and organizing them in a new process for a new class of problems."
