This IDC Survey Spotlight highlights results from the following question posed to 734 respondents and firms with 1,000+ employees across 5 countries, and several major industries, as part of IDC's 2022 Worldwide Managed Services Survey: "Providers for managing private clouds: Over the next two to three years, with the increasing move to using cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), please indicate the type of provider your company/organization will utilize or would consider utilizing to manage your private clouds (dedicate to a single company)." This IDC Survey Spotlight then assesses the impact of these enterprise priorities on managed service providers (SPs) and provides recommendations on what areas managed SPs need to focus on to optimize their opportunities in supporting firms that want to utilize private clouds using managed cloud services.
