This IDC study contains the outlook of the IDC Energy Insights analyst team for the worldwide mining industry for 2022–2027.
"Next year 2022 will see the world accept and build upon what is now the new normal. Consolidating the learnings from rapidly deploying remote working technologies will provide the foundations to further develop the talent required to implement and maintain other remote tools, such as remote-operated and automated machinery. Miners have embraced DX to maintain production in astounding numbers, and they have come a long way in a short time.
