Abstract
This IDC Survey presents the views of CIOs in Sub-Saharan Africa on cloud and IT services and their organizations' related needs for 2024. The document provides high-level insights into current and future spending patterns on IT services, service provider selection criteria, preferred technology partners, and the anticipated adoption of AI technologies.
The data presented and analyzed in this report is derived primarily from the Sub-Saharan Africa portions of IDC's IT Services Survey (October 2023), Security Survey (November 2023), and Cloud Survey (January 2024), which were conducted across the Middle East, Türkiye, and Africa. The Sub-Saharan Africa sub-sample comprised 391 decision makers from organizations with more than 250 employees.
