Abstract
This IDC Survey discusses government-related results from IDC's EMEA Cross-Industry Acceleration Survey, conducted by the IDC European Insights group in October and November 2023. For the survey, IDC interviewed representatives of 1,013 organizations with more than 10 employees across Western Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, and the Middle East and Africa.
This end-user survey provides critical information for IDC research groups studying EMEA business trends, IT trends, and IT purchasing patterns. It also details European organizations' requirements and solution priorities. Survey results are analyzed by vertical market, company size, and line of business (LOB).
The following results focus on respondents from central (international and national) and local (regional) governments. It analyzes their priorities, the KPIs they use to assess the success of new IT projects, and the challenges they are currently facing.
