Abstract
This IDC Survey analyzes European telecommunications operators' networking priorities and plans based on data from the 2023 EMEA Telco Transformation Survey. Between May and July 2023, IDC conducted a survey of 115 European and 35 MEA telecom operators to better understand how they are transforming their networks. Key themes include RAN virtualization and Open RAN, 5G standalone (SA), network virtualization/cloudification, disaggregation, strategic partners, and the role of managed services providers (MSPs).
