Abstract
This IDC Survey spotlight provides an overview of the progress of public sector organizations across EMEA in implementing sustainability-related operational practices, ranging from measuring their carbon footprint to incorporating circular economy principles into their operations. It benchmarks public sector organizations against the industry average to highlight their sustainability maturity. This IDC research finds that public sector organizations are generally lagging behind other industry players when it comes to operationalizing sustainability across their own organizations. This research will provide technology partners and service providers with insights into public sector maturity in this arena and help them to meet public sector organizations where they are in their sustainability journeys.
