This IDC Survey examines the results of IDC's EMEA CISO Survey. It analyzes how the role of the CISO is maturing and looks at what technology providers can do to meet growing expectations and deliver business value for security leaders.
As companies' day-to-day operations as well as their products and services become more digital, the importance of cybersecurity continues to increase. The challenges that they face grow as the shift to a more digital-based economy continues.
"Security is now a business priority and chief information security officers (CISOs) have to adapt to the changing priorities and challenges of working in a digital-first world," said Dave Clemente, research director, IDC Europe.
