This IDC Survey Spotlight asks organizations about their main reasons for their public cloud deployments not being successful enough and identifies the skill shortage as one of the top challenges.
While using cloud services and technologies can help users overcome their in-house IT talent shortage, this is not the case for all organizations. Without concerted and joined-up industry approaches to developing future IT talent, organizations will continue to be hampered in their efforts to adopt cloud.
