Abstract
Most organizations in Europe dispose of their old printing equipment in responsible ways that support recycling and reuse. Several factors motivate organizations to take this approach, including organizational sustainability programs, the ease of returning/disposing old equipment, and the financial rewards and discounts on future purchases offered by OEMs. Print OEMs seeking to increase the collection of old equipment for recycling or reuse need to take these factors into consideration, particularly as new EU recycling regulations are expected to be introduced in the coming years.
