This IDC Market Share examines the dynamics of the Western Europe business hardcopy industry in 2022. It highlights the winners and losers and identifies technologies emerging as major opportunities.
"Shipments and shares were hit hard in 2022 as supply chain issues significantly impacted the market; they are still having an impact on shipments into 2023. As a result, shipments and shares were erratic for the year. However, some major brands had success by capitalizing on their competitors' woes as they were able to manage their inventories more effectively," said Phil Sargeant, senior program director, IDC Imaging, Printing, and Document Solutions.
