These event proceedings were presented at the IDC Directions conferences in Boston and San Jose in March and April 2024.
Enterprises are shifting the weight of their technology investments toward AI-enhanced products/services and use of AI across the business. One industry, however, must make this AI pivot even faster: the IT Industry itself. Every IT company — from silicon to software to devices to network services to datacenters to professional services — is investing treasure, brain power, and time to make AI the foundation of their business. This session will provide insights into how the AI pivot changes enterprises' cloud decisions, what role embeddable AI in devices plays in enabling AI expansion, and how AI-driven transformation alters relationships across the software and services Industries.
