Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight highlights characteristics that growing Canadian organizations value in 2023, based on respondents in Canada to IDC's 2023 Canada's Business and IT Advisory Panel (BITAP) n3 Survey. The survey was conducted in December 2023. It compares the responses from organizations that had growing revenue/operating budgets (in case of public sector organizations) and those that had flat or decreasing revenue/operating budgets. Respondents were asked to: "Please indicate the importance of each of the following consultants' characteristics to the cloud professional services project's success. Please consider all consultants, not just those you may have worked with."
The study also looks at the proportion of respondents that indicated the characteristics to be critical or very important to project success in 2023. The survey collected responses from 244 respondents across Canada, including 202 with increasing revenue/budget and 42 with flat or declining revenue/budget.
