This IDC study reviews the top managed IT SPs in Canada across the five foundation markets.
"The managed IT services market in Canada witnessed a reduction in growth in 2023. Cut back in enterprise spending impacted some segments more than others, with strategically positioned vendors gaining market share. The number of large new contracts reduced in 2023, adversely impacting pipelines and revenues across large vendors. However, early signs of recovery have been observed by some vendors, although sales cycles and decisioning have seen significant extensions. Cost optimization and agility are currently top of mind across enterprise buyers. Successful managed SPs need to capitalize on incremental market opportunities, leveraging AI and automation to drive measurable business impact," according to Sreenivas Duvvuri, research analyst, Services at IDC Canada.
