Abstract

This IDC Survey focuses on wireline voice services, with insights on wireline providers in Canada, including satisfaction levels and spending intentions.

This IDC Survey also discusses the number of landline phones in use at Canadian businesses and examines decreasing business locations, wireless replacement, and internet VoIP services as potential drivers of landline use decline. In addition, it examines which type of landline phone services are used by businesses of different sizes, finding preferences among types of legacy and VoIP phone services.

Also included are insights on unified communications and collaboration (UCC) spending, service use, preferred providers, preferred implementation approaches, satisfaction, and spending intentions.

This is a refresh of IDC's annual communications survey of enterprises of all size segments, across all regions and vertical markets in Canada. IDC is publishing multiple topic–focused survey documents from our annual survey to share more findings and to help our users find relevant topic-based data more easily.
