Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight highlights the gap between Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) (APEJ) and worldwide (WW) organizations regarding the maturity of digital sovereignty state and the impact of it deriving value from generative AI (GenAI) adoption.
Compared with WW, organizations in APEJ see a greater need to improve and even overhaul digital sovereignty in their organizations. And they also see that it is more likely to be a hindrance to maximizing their use of GenAI technologies.
