Abstract

This IDC Survey includes insights from decision-makers' perspectives regarding hybrid and flexible work models, its impacts on employee productivity, and efforts to promote onsite work. Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) (APEJ) organizations are navigating the new realities of hybrid work models and major shifts in the labor force. This presentation also considers the technical and organizational issues faced by organizations when providing hybrid work to their employees and which technologies can be implemented to improve workflows. The key topics covered include:

  • The percentage of full-time workers in hybrid models in 2023
  • The major technology challenges in supporting remote and hybrid workers
  • The technologies and services in which organizations will increase investment to achieve technology parity for all employees regardless of their physical location
  • The initiatives taken by organizations to promote and support onsite work

The insights in this document are based on IDC's 2023 Future of Work Survey and 2022 Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey, Wave 11.
