Abstract
This IDC Presentation leverages data from IDC’s 2023 Asia/Pacific Enterprise Services Sourcing Survey to find the key risks Asia/Pacific SAP customers perceive in moving to a RISE with SAP model. The findings have also been contextualized for marketing and sales leaders in SAP's partner ecosystem.
RISE with SAP aims to provide customers with a managed business transformation as a service offering that bundles a range of SAP products and services designed to ease the friction of migration to SAP S/4HANA. Additionally, with SAP increasing support costs and limiting access to new innovation for its on-premises S/4HANA customers, RISE with SAP presents itself as a viable and cost-effective means to tap into SAP's ongoing innovations on the cloud.
The survey further examines the current sourcing preferences of current SAP customers in Asia/Pacific and aims to identify the services opportunities for SAP's partner ecosystem. The findings will be published subsequently in this program.
