Abstract

This IDC Survey includes data from IDC's Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey conducted in 2023 and IDC's Asia/Pacific Enterprise Services Sourcing Survey 2H22. The document provides the results and analysis of senior IT leaders on software-as-a-service (SaaS)–related trends and intentions. Respondents are from a broad range of industries and company sizes.

"Among the key trends we see in the region, the response to budgetary pressures in a weak global economy is pushing organizations toward greater optimization of their cloud spend in SaaS to reduce cost while maximizing value from cloud investments. Users will consolidate their contracts and seek greater partnership value from SaaS suppliers moving forward," says Daphne Chung, research director, Cloud Services and Software, APEJ.
