Abstract

This IDC Survey discusses the New Zealand results from IDC's 2022 Australia and New Zealand IT Services Ecosystem Survey, conducted in September and October of the same year. This report provides an in-depth analysis of New Zealand organisations' plans for IT services workload migration, budgets, and contract changes planned for 2023. The topics and themes covered in this report include:

• View of IT services migration to third-party providers and intent to change providers in 2023
• Budget shifts across different IT services used by New Zealand organisations
• A breakdown of investment intent for multiple IT services, including datacentre services, hybrid workplace services, systems and cloud integration, network management, analytics/data science services, cloud management services, device management services, cybersecurity management, application modernisation and digital transformation services
