Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight summarizes selected results from IDC's 2022 Future of Digital Infrastructure 2022 Global Sentiment Survey conducted in June of the same year. Today, a multicloud environment is not new for enterprises. In the Asia/Pacific (including Japan) (APJ) region organizations are increasingly taking the initiative to adopt infrastructure and services from different cloud vendors, thereby leveraging a multicloud environment. There are numerous positives, such as agility, flexibility, and cost efficiency, and the ability to separate different workloads into different environments based on requirements. However, there are certain challenges that organizations face in the adoption of multicloud environments. This report highlights these challenges and provides advice on how these can be overcome.
