Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight aims to capture and highlight the top challenges faced by organizations across the Asia/Pacific (including Japan) (APJ) region in successfully scaling AI/machine learning (ML) initiatives.
AI/ML interest and adoption among APJ enterprises remain high for point use cases across some functions; however, AI maturity varies significantly in organizations across countries and industry verticals in the region. AI initiatives are difficult for Asia/Pacific businesses to industrialize ― only one-fifth of APJ enterprises have so far been able to successfully move 60% of their ML models into production.
