Abstract
This IDC Survey presents data from IDC's January 2024 Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey, Wave 1 (n = 881). It shows that overall, 74% of companies worldwide are in the process of deploying AI platforms but only about two-thirds of larger enterprises are. Key concerns about platforms include pricing, immaturity, and privacy protections. However, large enterprises consider their operational environments to be ready to support GenAI processes, data access, privacy controls, and output quality.
