This IDC Survey Spotlight examines the adoption of "zero trust adoption" by enterprise maturity and size of business.
This IDC Survey Spotlight examines results from IDC's Security Operations Center Survey, which was conducted in December 2022 in the United States. The goal was to characterize the maturity of the organizations' security operations. IDC surveyed 507 U.S. respondents with knowledge of the software tools used in their organization's security operations centers (SOCs) to gain insight into the tools used in the SOC and actions of the security team with the goal of understanding the information on the basis of maturity. Respondents addressed topics such as size of security team, cybersecurity budget, use of third-party security providers, approach to cybersecurity, and which tools are used.
