Abstract
This IDC Market Presentation seeks to understand if and/or how those views vary with respect to the major cloud vendors used at the developer's organization. IDC asked professional developers for their views on a variety of generative AI topics. All survey participants are professional software developers from midsize to large organizations that have experimented with or are currently using generative AI technologies. The findings show wide swaths of consistency irrespective of the cloud vendors in use but also some variability and potential early signaling of market strengths.
