This IDC study provides a forecast for the U.S. augmented and virtual reality hardware market for the 2023–2027 period.
"The U.S. AR/VR market took a step back in 2022 with several leaders seeing lower volumes and demand," says Ramon T. Llamas, research director with IDC's Augmented and Virtual Reality team. "2023 will see other brands stepping up to fill that demand and generate hype and interest once again. This will carry over into subsequent years of steady growth for both consumers and commercial users."
