Abstract
This IDC Survey — based on an August 2022 IDC survey of organizations with high-performance computing (HPC) deployments — highlights key use cases by industry. This is a precursor to a comprehensive use case document that will be published in early 2023. HPC-AI is a global phenomenon and, with digital transformation at the forefront, is gaining traction for a variety of use cases in government institutions, academia, and enterprises. Converged HPC-AI infrastructure is the foundation.
