This IDC study provides a view of worldwide AR hardware market shares by vendor for 2022.
"Although the worldwide AR hardware market remained relatively flat in 2022, beneath the surface were major shifts that will have significant repercussions going forward," points out Ramon T. Llamas, research director with IDC's AR/VR team. "Microsoft's decline leaves multiple opportunities for enterprise-focused AR vendors to come in, and Nreal's focus on the consumer market breathes life into a segment that has been long overlooked. Along with many other notable companies arriving or releasing new devices to the market, the market is still taking the slow but certain steps toward maturity."
