This IDC Perspective explores ESG as a trust determinant in the IDC Trust Index, gauging the impact of positive and negative ESG performance on overall trust ratings and evaluating how ESG aligns with IDC's Trust Framework. The emerging class of ESG management software as a tool for ESG strategy development and reporting is highlighted as a mechanism for driving positive ESG ratings.
