Abstract
This IDC Survey presents the results of a survey conducted by IDC's Digital Automotive and Transportation Strategies practice. The Connected Car's Infotainment Consumer Survey was fielded for U.S. respondents in January 2023.
The survey is designed to help connected infotainment tech suppliers, telecom companies, cloud service providers, user application developers, and other stakeholders in the connected infotainment ecosystem understand the key parameters involved in U.S. auto consumers' decision making, evolving requirements with the introduction of new functionalities, and user experience-related expectations.
IDC's Connected Car's Infotainment Consumer Survey collected results from 2,000 respondents, both connected infotainment users and traditional infotainment users who intend to buy a new vehicle in next three years:
