Abstract
This IDC Survey looks at delivery models currently used for finance and accounting business process services (outsourcing offshore/onshore/nearshore, captive operations, global business services (GBS), build-operate-transfer) and how buyers plan to shift to new models in the next three to five years. This document is based on data from IDC's 2022 Worldwide Finance and Accounting Business Process Services Survey, which was fielded from August to October 2022. This study surveyed almost 800 buyers and decisions makers of outsourced finance and accounting business process services with a representation across macroregions (United States, Canada, United Kingdom Germany, China, and Australia), company sizes, industries, and IT/LOB roles and job titles, including CFO's and heads of finance.
