Abstract

This IDC Survey examines document accessibility compliance.

As organizations navigate the new realities of hybrid work models and a focus on employee experience, IDC is researching how different geographies are addressing document accessibility compliance. This IDC Survey explores organizational awareness, readiness, and compliance with digital accessibility standards for business documents. It is based on a survey of enterprises in North America and Western Europe with at least 100 employees who are aware of accessibility standards, involved with maintaining accessibility within the organization, and have implemented or are planning an accessibility project. The survey indicates that the majority of organizations are aware of digital accessibility standards; however, there is more work to be done to be fully prepared to meet both local laws and global guidelines.
