Abstract
This IDC study presents the U.S. wearable computing device forecast for the 2023–2027 period.
"Having witnessed strong growth and high volumes during the pandemic, the U.S. wearables market cooled down in 2022, and we expect that trend to continue in 2023, albeit at a lower rate," says Ramon T. Llamas, research director for IDC's Wearables team. "Vendors should look to replacement opportunities while customers will be on the search for bargains and best-of-breed devices and solutions. Beyond that, the fundamentals of the market are sound with first-time users waiting to be connected and a growing list of devices."
